About the event
Starting with a an introduction to folklore, emotional associations, and cultural symbolism of selected late summer flowers. You will be encouraged to reflect on how these stories resonate with their own experiences, and how narrative can shape the way we see and paint the natural world.
From this you will complete a series of drawing and watercolour activities that move between expressive sketching and more detailed botanical studies. You’ll explore how line, colour, and compassion can be used to communicate mood, memory and meaning – allowing you to create artwork that feels both personal and connected to the garden.
Workshops can be booked individually or attend both sessions. Tickets are £60 for each session. All materials are provided on the day.
